Animal Super Squad is a premium adventure game guaranteed for hours of physics-based fun. This indie title from DoubleMoose Games lets you control animals, starting with a chicken, and travel through a unique mechanized world. It doesn’t have an overarching storyline, but it has a lot of content to enjoy. Create your own maps, play other players’ creations, and even interact with its healthy player base.

To start, Animal Super Squad lets you play among three animals—chicken, fish, or sloth—that you would control among hundreds of custom maps. There are also a lot of vehicles featured in the game, each of them featuring unique mechanics that you’ll discover along the way, mainly because the game doesn’t offer explainers or tutorial stages. Similarly, it has unlockable materials and accessories as you earn achievements.
Regardless of the game mode, the objective remains simple: to get to the end of the level. It will require you to time jumps and launch yourself at the right angles. Here is where the in-game physics kicks in. Considerations on weight, trajectory, and other factors are included and would affect your response. You die, but there’s no game-over scenario; you’re free to play as much as you want.
Lastly, it connects you to a community of players that create content. Most custom maps are available for you to play, and the most popular ones are usually featured. Conversely, you can create your own and share it with other players. Its first problem, however, refers to animation glitches that get you stuck and with no choice but to restart. The other is the immense difficulty of the late-game stages.
